Summer dreams

It’s been a while since I’ve updated this page. I’m in Norfolk virginia for a few weeks. It’s been nice, a lot of new people. One thing I love the most about traveling to new places, is the change of people, the different atmosphere, to an extent, different culture, even though I’m still in the states.

My life for four years: The Navy

Joiningt he navy was one of the hardest decisions i’ve ever made, and is going to impact how i live the rest of it. On one side, there’s the great training it offers, it sets you up for careers outside the navy, eveny paying for your college (that was a hue plus for me). On the other, it puts a strain on relationships, takes you away from your family and often puts you in places you would rather not be. It definitely comes with its ups and downs. I’m a little over six months into my contract. Hooyah.

Life is written in ink and has many chapters. While you can’t erase the ink, you can look back on it and start a new chapter whenever you want.

This is the beach outside of my Barracks in Pensacola, FL. gorgeous, right? It’s way better in person. This is my thinking place. Where i come to get away from it all, to ponder the meaning of life. I believe everybody should have their own secluded place where they can go. Hearing nothing but the waves,  it really helps me focus, Clears out all the clutter from my mind. So, to my beach, thanks for listening. 🙂

Speaking of statistics

What’s the deal with all the negativity in media today? All you hear is the bad! this is especially true when it comes to statistics. Everyone’s heard the phrase, “Don’t be another statistic”.  I searched up some good statistics on the internet and couldn’t find squat. here’s a message to the media; lighten up! Instead of focusing on the bad, like you so often do, arousing paranoia in the population, for once, focus on the good. Pretty Please!

Another weekend, gone. It’s scary sometimes, how time seems to slip away before your eyes.

Life..

Sometimes I like to think of my self as a philosopher. This is one of many posts I’m sure, about life. Life is a mystery, that’s one thing i think most people can agree on. There will always be questions, why are we here, what’s my purpose, how is anything even possible? There will also always be people who pretend to have the answers, people who have no honor, who take advantage of others for their own personal gain. Most people are guilty of this to an extent, I being one of them.I don’t pretend to have the answers. I would be lying If i said otherwise.  For now, i guess I’m okay with that. I hope as i grow in age, I also grow in wisdom. Life can be mysterious, but that doesn’t mean it’s not enjoyable.I could spend hours just contemplating life. I believe it will keep me young, at least at heart.

Blog!? yeah.

That’s right. I was twiddling my thumbs after watching a scary movie, when a thought struck me. holy fuckin shit: i have a blog! I set this thing up as a profile for my photography, but what the heck; my own digital journal might be cool. So, here’s to the start of something new-ish: My blog. 🙂
